Looking for a unique job that you can be fully taught on the work floor? A challenging job in production but still no line work?

Here in Atelier Vierkant we make large ceramic pots by hand, these pots are built up and finished with clay. Once dry they are baked and shipped to all corners of the world.

For the finishing team we are looking for an extra employee.

Some of the tasks.

• Filling holes and cracks in ceramic pots with clay and with the necessary tools.
• Providing pots with the requested finish, there are 16 different ways to finish a pot..
• Using your transpalet to take the pot to the drying rooms before starting the next pot.
• Of course you are also responsible for the cleanliness of the workplace.

This is a physically demanding job where you work with your hands in the clay. Everything is done manually there are no machines involved. So we are looking for a person who is eager to learn and motivated to learn this unique job but who can also do physical work and is not afraid to get their hands dirty. It is a very challenging job where you can enjoy very good company training.

Jouw profiel

• Good Knowledge of English or basic knowledge of English AND good knowledge of Romanian, Polish or Spanish. You will be joining a multicultural company.
• Physical work is not a problem.
• You cannot get here by public transport, there is no bus stop from 'De lijn' nearby. From the station in Bruges there is a free bus for employees, from Ostend you have to come by car, bicycle, scooter or step.
• You are looking for a long-term job.
• Motivated , energetic and eager to learn this job.

• Zichtbare afwijkingen aan producten opsporen, lokaliseren en ze sorteren (oppervlakte, kleur, ...)

Aanbod

• A full-time job Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m, every weekend off
• Collectively closed with fall and krokus vacations, 1 week in Easter period, 2 weeks Christmas vacation, 3 weeks in summer and 3 days off to be chosen.
• We work 40 hours per week, giving you 12 additional vacation days on top of 20 regular days. 32 vacation days in total + 10 national holidays.
• You get full training here on the job, no knowledge or background needed. Just a big portion of eagerness to learn.
• Starting wage of 13,32 euro per hour plus a meal voucher of 8 euro, after 3 months 13;42 euro per hour. With permanent contract a starting salary of 13,92euro per hour. After that it depends on performance.
• After 6 months a positive evaluation? Then you also get a permanent contract and also the salary increase.
• A good working atmosphere in our workshops.
• Once trained you can work with your own music via your own earphones or headphones, the radio also plays in the ateliers.
• Changing rooms and showers are available.
• We provide fresh fruit, coffee, soup ect for everyone every week.
• The opportunity to take a free bus from Bruges station that will take you directly to work and, of course, back.
