We are hiring two experienced Quality Inspectors to join a global consultancy on a major data centre build in Belgium. These are site-based roles focused on ensuring installations meet design, standards, and client expectations.
Role 1: Quality Inspector (Mechanical)
What you will do
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment, including HVAC, chilled water, process piping, and fire protection.
- Inspect LLE and OFCI mechanical equipment for compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Verify works against drawings, specifications, and relevant standards such as ASHRAE and EN, plus local codes.
- Raise, track, and close NCRs.
- Review ITPs, method statements, and contractor quality documentation.
- Support internal and external audits and witness testing.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and drive continuous improvement with site teams.
What you bring
- 5+ years in a mechanical quality inspection role on large construction projects.
- Proven data centre or mission-critical experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction practices, materials, and test methods.
- ISO 9001 familiarity and excellent drawing interpretation.
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
Role 2: Quality Inspector (Electrical)
What you will do
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment, including LV and MV distribution, UPS, generators, lighting, earthing, fire alarm, ICT and ELV systems.
- Inspect LLE and OFCI electrical equipment for compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Verify works against drawings, specifications, and relevant standards such as IEC and IEEE, plus local codes.
- Raise, track, and close NCRs.
- Review ITPs, method statements, and contractor quality documentation.
- Support internal and external audits and witness testing.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and drive continuous improvement with site teams.
What you bring
- 5+ years in an electrical quality inspection role on large construction projects.
- Proven data centre or mission-critical experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction practices and test methodologies.
- ISO 9001 familiarity and excellent drawing interpretation.
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
