What you will do
As a Service Technician, you operate in Belgium, with a strong focus on project sites and customer locations in the Ghent region. You work on our low‑ and medium‑voltage installations and ensure correct installation, commissioning, maintenance and service. Your work guarantees that customers can rely on safe, reliable and future‑proof energy solutions.
Your key responsibilities:- Install, assemble, mount and maintain low‑ and medium‑voltage switchgear, including cable terminations following AREI standards.
- Collaborate and coordinate with technicians, contractors and customers at Belgian project sites.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications.
- Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve technical faults — independently or in consultation with external partners.
- Perform electrical measurements and testing, and prepare accurate reporting.
- Check availability of materials, tools and documentation needed for daily operations.
- Ensure all safety guidelines and regulations are strictly followed.

What you bring
You are a technical professional who enjoys working independently, takes ownership and remains calm when facing technical challenges. With strong communication skills and a hands‑on mindset, you quickly find effective solutions. You bring:
- A technical degree (preferably a bachelor's in Electricity or Electromechanics) or 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication skills and customer focus.
- Solid technical problem‑solving abilities and the ability to read technical drawings.
- Flexibility in working hours and work locations (with core focus on the Ghent region).
- Willingness to travel to the Netherlands for training and practical experience.
- Good command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
- A valid B driving licence.
