Location: Brussels(the option to work from home up to three days a week) Languages: English and French or Dutch. Employment Type: Freelance Start Date: ASAP End Date: 31/03/2026 Context of the mission/objective(s) of the job Seeking for one new .NET fullstack developer with strong experience in WPF to support our ongoing initiatives within our existing teams. The team is working on a complex application Netcalc calculating the electricity Grid impact using Powerfactory. The new developer must have backend as well as frontend experience (with focus on the backend 80% Be / 20% FE) as Seas is performing complex calculations. Resource must be comfortable working in a complex/mathematical environment. Requirements The developer will be expected to follow Client's standards and ensure high-quality code delivery. They should have a strong knowledge of the following technologies: .NET 8 C# WPF is a MUST. SQL Server MongoDB RabbitMQ Micro-services architecture The developer will be expected to follow Elia's standards and ensure high-quality code delivery. MUST (good level): C# .NET SQL Server / TSQL Splunk OpenAPI/Swagger Blazor Should: Clean code, DRY, YAGNI, sonarqube (Quality Gate)?, Coverage MicroService design Tracing Monitoring Logging Azure Angular 17+, React 18+, TypeScript Soft Skills: The candidate should possess good communication skills, take accountability for their tasks. Additional information Location: Brussels, with the option to work from home up to three days a week. In case of travels to Germany, Client will cover all costs
