Aides socio-éducatifs/ Educateurs diplômés - Day Care (M/F/NB)


arcus asbl. is a young and dynamic association that has grown steadily since 2015. It is active in the field of aide à l'enfance and services d'éducation et d'accueil. It is a 'learning organisation', identifying and responding to challenges to use the skills and experience of its staff to benefit others in a spirit of respect and caring. Day Care arcus is looking for: Aides socio-éducatifs/ éducateurs diplômés (M/F/NB) for:

- 20-25h/week on a fixed-term contract (CDD) from 01/09/2025 - 15/07/2026 to cover maternity and parental leave

- 25h/week on a permanent contract (CDI)


Day Care arcus is an international Maison Relais, where English is the main language and cultural richness is both celebrated and embedded in daily life. They offer a warm, child-centered environment for children aged 6 to 12, grounded in the Weltatelier concept, which values each child as independent and full of potential. The diverse team of pedagogues, educators and child care specialists creates meaningful, interest-driven experiences that foster creativity, communication, scientific thinking, and social-emotional growth. All activities are guided by Luxembourg’s Cadre de Référence National for non-formal education. The team also carefully designs and prepares different function rooms that are designed to inspire exploration, creativity and self-directed learning. These spaces, along with our outdoor areas and regular access to city parks and cultural sites, offer children a rich and dynamic environment for play and discovery.


Responsibilities

  • Supervision, support, and non-formal education of children aged 6 to 12 in a caring and stimulating environment.

  • Planning and organisation of educational and recreational activities tailored to the children's needs.

  • Ensuring a structured and safe environment for the children.

  • Regular communication with parents about their children's development.

  • Collaboration with colleagues to ensure consistent pedagogical quality.


Requirements

  • A degree, or relevant experience in education and care.

  • Fluency in English (native speaker is an asset).

  • Comfortable with 2 of the 3 country’s official languages (Luxembourgish, French, German).

  • Excellent communication skills and team spirit.

  • Knowledge of the Weltatelier concept is an asset.
