Sales Director – Pharmaceutical


We are supporting an international technology company specialized in high-value equipment and solutions dedicated to regulated pharmaceutical and biotechnology environments.
Based in Wallonia and operating globally, this organization combines technical expertise, product innovation and strong quality standards. As part of its international growth and structuring phase, the company is looking to strengthen its commercial leadership.
In this context, we are seeking a Sales Director capable of defining and driving the global sales strategy to support the next stage of development.
YOUR MISSION
Define, structure and deploy the international sales strategy for high-value technical solutions within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role. You shape the commercial direction while remaining involved in major negotiations and key accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & International Development
Analyze market trends, customer needs and competitive dynamics
Define the strategic roadmap for product and market expansion
Structure and implement the international commercial action plan (targeting, pricing, partnerships)
Build effective synergies with other group entities
Leadership & Organization
Lead and develop European sales teams
Drive and challenge international distributors and partners
Define and monitor relevant KPIs
Adapt the commercial structure to growth objectives
Complex Sales & Key Accounts
Lead long and technical sales cycles
Negotiate high-value international contracts
Secure framework agreements with recurring key customers
Build long-term trust-based relationships with global accounts
Regulatory Monitoring & Positioning
Monitor regulatory developments (GMP, FDA, PIC/S, etc.)
Adjust market positioning according to compliance and technology evolution
Maintain alignment with industry quality standards
Representation
Act as a credible ambassador of the organization externally and internally
PROFILE
Required
Proven experience in senior B2B commercial leadership within a complex technological environment
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry dynamics
Experience managing international long sales cycles
Fluent English (C1 minimum required)
Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
Nice to Have
Experience in regulated environments
Experience within an international group structure
