Project Engineer – BMU

We're hiring 2 Project Engineers for a Belgian company developing tailor-made BMU systems (suspended platforms, hoists, access structures...).

Your role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll lead the full development of BMU projects for clients in Belgium and worldwide.

You’ll be involved from pre-sales to production launch.

Your key responsibilities

• Produce concept drawings and technical files to support sales
• Design tailor-made machines compliant with customer needs and regulations
• Generate detailed and production-ready drawings
• Perform mechanical calculations using SolidWorks
• Compile a complete production file and manage ordering via ERP
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, production, purchasing, etc.) for seamless project follow-up

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in mechanical, electromechanical, product design or equivalent experience
• Strong technical sense and hands-on experience in mechanical engineering
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory)
• Solid knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical systems
• Knowledge of steel structure calculations (manual or via SolidWorks) is a plus
• Based in Belgium, Fluent in Dutch or English
