Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy L1 / L3 Engineer to join our IT team. In this entry-level role, you will assist with troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting end-user systems including desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user requests for technical support in person, via phone, or email.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers.
- Support basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Help maintain inventory of IT equipment and manage hardware check-in/check-out.
- Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff or external support vendors as necessary.
- Install and update operating systems, software, and security patches.
- Document issues, resolutions, and updates in the IT ticketing system.
- Provide basic training and support to users on software and hardware use.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, such as setting up new user workstations and disabling accounts.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in IT or related field preferred).
- Basic understanding of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and commonly used software applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a technical support environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
