Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy L1 / L3 Engineer to join our IT team. In this entry-level role, you will assist with troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting end-user systems including desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in IT support and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to user requests for technical support in person, via phone, or email.
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers.
  • Support basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Help maintain inventory of IT equipment and manage hardware check-in/check-out.
  • Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff or external support vendors as necessary.
  • Install and update operating systems, software, and security patches.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and updates in the IT ticketing system.
  • Provide basic training and support to users on software and hardware use.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, such as setting up new user workstations and disabling accounts.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in IT or related field preferred).
  • Basic understanding of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and commonly used software applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a technical support environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
