ENGINEERING MANAGER (MODULAR PROJECT)

POSITIONNING :
The engineering manager is responsible for engineering studies on one or several modular projects, this includes all the engineering disciplines : Structure, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Engineering documents. He is in charge to coordinate the engineering discipline leaders nominated on one of several projects in order to ensure the execution of engineering activities. He is also responsible to ensure the correct respect of the engineering procedures and standards Group. The engineering manager leads the technical disciplines within the engineering teams and the technical relationship with the engineering subcontractors on the modular project(s) concerned. He coordinates the engineering remaining work to be done on modular Projects and ensure the engineering subcontractors are fulfilling the production of engineering deliverables on time and on quality.

QUALIFICATON :
Min 10 to 15 Years experience with at least 8 years in the engineering team and or engineeringmanager role of oil & gas projects. With a higher scientific education, Process, Mechanical of General Engineering.

• Must have worked as an Engineering Manager in an EPC company or on EPC projects.
• Experience with Design and Detailed Engineering Modularization Projects.
• Good knowledge about Process, Piping, Layout, Structures and Electrical engineeringn disciplines.
• Good technical knowledge in the majority of the areas covered by the engineering disciplines is appreciated but not mandatory.
• Experience of international codes like ASME, TEMA, API, NACE, ANSI, GOST
• Good knowledge about 3D software Aveva, Smartplan, Navisworks.
• Knowledge about Aveva Diagrams, Smartplan P&IDs and Tekla, Caesar is appreciated
• Must be able to lead multiple disciplines and effectively interface with all disciplines
• Must have excellent design related skills in terms of interpreting designs and to help the design team produce working or production drawings effectively.
• Good level of English and Indian language (indian native prefered)

MAIN ACTIVITIES :
To lead the engineering studies on the project and to carry out the associated technical coordination. Ensure the production and quality of key technical deliverables by engineering subcontractors in order to perform FEED or detailed Engineering on modular Projects.

• Lead Engineering Team on FEED or Detailed Engineering phases.
• Ensure the interfaces between engineering disciplines.
• Accountable to respect the budget of hours given to realize the studies with high level of quality and safety.
• Perform engineering reporting to the project manager and the management.
• Manage the technical relationship with engineering subcontractors.
• Perform the interface with the project manager and the interface within the group.
• Manage the design issues with the subcontractors and ensure compliance with the client design.
• Must have excellent design related skills in terms of interpreting designs and to help the design team produce working or production drawings effectively
• Experience in related designing packages and softwares.
