About the rol

In this key role, you'll be the expert and administrator of our Zendesk environment. You'll be responsible for the technical setup, optimization, and integration of Zendesk with our other systems.

Combining analytical insight, technical know-how, and a hands-on mindset, you'll take our customer service to the next level.

Your responsibilities

  • Full administration of Zendesk (Support, Chat, Guide, Explore, Talk): system setup, business rules, triggers, macros, roles, views, and more.
  • Build, analyze, and optimize data dashboards and reports.
  • Implement and manage AI tools and automations, including chatbots, AI suggestions, and ticket workflows.
  • Develop and maintain API integrations with our back office, communication tools, and other platforms.
  • Maintain and evolve internal apps via the Zendesk App Framework.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Critically evaluate our current Zendesk setup and develop a strategy for improvement.
  • Create a roadmap for continuous enhancement of our support experience.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve bugs or disruptions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Zendesk developments and third-party integrations—and translate these into tangible optimizations.

What we're looking for

You're technically skilled, understand what great customer experience looks like, and can easily switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

You have:

  • At least
    3 years of experience
    in a similar technical role (e.g. Zendesk Administrator, CX Engineer, System Administrator).
  • In-depth knowledge of
    Zendesk products
    : Support, Guide, Chat, Explore, Talk.
  • Proven experience with:
  • Workflow and process automation in Zendesk
  • Help Center (Guide) setup and customization
  • API integrations & custom app development within Zendesk
  • Multi-channel setup (including Talk, Messaging)
  • Zendesk migrations and cleanup of legacy environments
  • Zendesk Reporting & Explore dashboards
  • Experience with technical documentation and system integrations.
  • A structured, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication skills in
    English
    (Dutch is a plus).
