Business & Policy Intern (CIP) – Brussels

The European Regions Airline Association (ERA) is looking for a motivated
Business & Policy Intern
to join our Brussels team under a
Convention d'Immersion Professionnelle (CIP)
for
6-12 months
, starting
15 December 2025 or as soon as possible
.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across
communications, events, policy development and core business operations
within a dynamic European trade association representing over 200 aviation stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

You will actively support both our
Communications & Events
team and our
Policy & Technical
team. Your tasks will include:

Business & Administrative Support

• Assist with the coordination of ERA's internal working groups
• Support policy administration, meeting preparation and follow-up
• Help maintain and update internal databases, contact lists and membership records

Event Support & Logistics

• Contribute to the planning and delivery of ERA events across Europe
• Assist with venue coordination, supplier liaison and delegate registration
• Support travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and speakers
• Help manage event communications, information sharing and post-event tasks

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Support the Communications team with internal processes and team coordination
• Gain exposure to policy-making processes and contribute to policy activities

This role will give you
valuable insight into how a successful membership association operates
, collaborates, influences and delivers impact for its members.

We're looking for someone who…

• Has a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Political Science or similar
• Is highly organised, proactive and comfortable handling multiple tasks
• Communicates clearly and professionally (English required; French a plus)
• Enjoys working in a collaborative, friendly team
• Is confident using digital tools and open to learning new systems
• Is an EU national or holds the necessary right to work in Belgium
