We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our client's Predictive Models team within the Marketing and Communication department. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data science and Large Language Models (LLMs) to create responsible AI models that enhance campaign relevance and impact. You will work with a motivated team of data scientists who thrive on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
Key responsibilities
Develop and deploy responsible AI models to solve business challenges and optimize marketing campaigns.
Capture business needs, assess feasibility, and design models to identify relevant target groups.
Build customer journey-driven models, including next-best-action recommendations.
Clean and structure web analytics data, leveraging LLMs to detect customer intent.
Ensure model explainability, robustness, and compliance with best practices for responsible AI.
Deploy and monitor AI models in production using a comprehensive tool stack.
Present complex technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations.
Required qualifications & skills
Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science), or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data science
Strong expertise in Python and the Python data science ecosystem (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Proven experience in customer journey modelling and marketing analytics
Solid understanding of statistical methods, experiment design, and Machine Learning algorithms (traditional and deep learning)
Experience with LLMs for text classification, summarisation, interpretability, and model validation
Proficiency in SQL, GIT, and Bash
Languages
English: Fluent (spoken and written)

Preferred skills
Experience with incremental learning, uplift modelling, or marketing mix modelling
Familiarity with SAS and Streamlit
