As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a commercially astute and operationally strong Contracts Director to lead client relationships and drive performance across multiple live projects.

The Role

This is a senior leadership position combining contractual oversight, client management, and site operations leadership.

The successful candidate will play a central role in working directly with clients and main contractors while ensuring that site operations are commercially controlled, strategically aligned, and effectively delivered.

This role is ideally suited to a candidate from a specialist subcontractor background within M+E, Data Centres, or Industrial construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as primary senior point of contact for clients
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships
• Manage dispute avoidance and resolution
• Drive a collaborative, solutions‑focused project approach

• Work closely with Project Directors and Site Managers to ensure operational excellence
• Ensure alignment between commercial controls and site delivery
• Monitor programme, cost, risk, and performance metrics
• Support project teams in resolving operational and contractual challenges

Candidate Profile

• Senior commercial/operational experience within a specialist subcontractor
• Strong background in M+E, Data Centres, or Industrial projects
• Demonstrated experience managing both client relationships and site teams
• Strong understanding of European construction contracts and practices
• Proven negotiation and leadership capability
• Experience working with international contractors advantageous
• Fluent in English
