Maintenance Supervisor


Site Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Beringen, Belgium

Salary: €4,000 – €5,000 +Benefits

TXM is recruiting for a leading automation and intralogistics company, seeking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor for their brand-new automated distribution site. This individual will be responsible for the overall performance of the site, maintenance planning, leading a team of 6 technicians, customer management and more.

The ideal individual will have worked as a technician/engineer at the start of his career and have experience of managing technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the onsite team: you manage scheduling, ensure proper staffing levels, guide onboarding and offboarding, and oversee compliance with all Health & Safety regulations.
  • Customer point of contact: you monitor the quality and progress of the work, making the right decisions to balance the customer's interests.
  • Coordinating maintenance and repairs: you ensure that inspections, maintenance tasks, breakdowns, and quality audits are carried out efficiently, and you manage the CMMS system.
  • Analysis & improvement: you investigate faults and translate your findings into concrete improvement proposals (continuous improvement).
  • Spare parts management: you monitor stock levels, analyse parts flows, and ensure timely ordering of the required components.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • A tso level education, preferably in mechatronics or electrical engineering, supplemented with a VCA-VOL and BA5 safety certificate.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally combined with a background as a technician.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; French and/or German is a plus.
  • Flexibility and willingness to support shifted schedules when needed, although you will primarily work day shifts.
  • Curiosity and proactivity, you take the lead when issues arise and collaborate with others to find solutions.
