This is a permanent remote role, open to candidates based in the EU (Portugal, Spain, France ideally) /p pThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing tech team in a senior role, with plenty of room for development, ownership, and progression. /p h3The Role /h3 pYou’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems for a web and app-based platform. The team values scalable architecture, performance, and clean code, and you'll be working in a collaborative environment focused on high-quality engineering. /p ul liDeveloping and maintaining backend systems in PHP (Laravel) /li liDesigning and optimising REST APIs /li liEnsuring high performance, scalability, and responsiveness /li liFollowing SOLID principles and applying design patterns /li liWriting clean, maintainable, and testable code /li liTaking ownership of builds and contributing to technical decisions /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul liProven Laravel expertise /li liStrong understanding of REST API concepts /li liSolid knowledge of MySQL and/or PostgreSQL /li liFamiliarity with design patterns and SOLID principles /li liPassion for building clean, scalable, maintainable code /li liExperience building projects from scratch /li liProactive mindset and ability to take ownership /li /ul pBonus points for experience integrating with travel booking engines. /p h3Interview Process /h3 ul liVideo interview with the CTO /li liTake-home technical challenge /li liFinal video interview with the CTO, CPO, and Lead Developer /li /ul pFully remote across Europe /p pPlease only apply if you are located in Europe (not UK or other) /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
