IT Business Analyst (AI tools)
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyse, and formalize business requirements, translating them into AI, machine
learning, data mining, or business intelligence solutions.
• Evaluate and assess existing advanced analytics tools and propose optimal AI-driven
approaches aligned with organizational objectives.
• Design detailed application mock-ups and presentation interfaces, ensuring high usability
and strong user experience.
• Analyse large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and support data-
driven decision-making.
• Ensure full compliance with GDPR and emerging AI regulations throughout the data
lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, data scientists, IT teams, and data
stewards to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that developed solutions meet
business expectations.
• Develop data models tailored to specific problem statements and analytical use cases.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of analytics architectures, including
scalability, performance optimization, capacity planning, and physical data design.
• Define and implement data governance controls to ensure data quality, integrity,
consistency, and completeness.
• Design and monitor automated anomaly detection systems and track their performance
over time.
• Perform advanced data mining and ensure robust data processing, cleansing, and
validation practices.
• Participate in the design and coordination of IT architectures for NLP, ML, and AI-based
solutions, integrating master data and metadata management principles.
• Analyse overall data architecture to assess its reliability, coherence, and alignment with
enterprise data strategy.
• Contribute to shaping the organization’s data management vision, strategy, and policies,
translating them into technical requirements.
• Produce comprehensive documentation and collaborate across project teams to manage
interdependencies.
Required Expertise
• Strong understanding of the NLP system lifecycle and Agile software development
methodologies.
• Proven experience working with large-scale datasets, non-structured data sources, and
data lake environments.
• Solid knowledge of enterprise information systems and large organizational administrative
processes.• Proficiency in analysis and modelling techniques (use case diagrams, state diagrams, ER
models, interaction diagrams, BPMN, UML, or equivalent).
• Experience with collaborative tools and knowledge management platforms (e.g., Wiki
environments).
• Excellent knowledge of data analytics techniques and tools.
• Practical experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or PERL.
• Strong SQL knowledge, including exposure to NoSQL databases, MongoDB, Hadoop, or
similar technologies.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable, modern data storage architectures.
• Ability to work independently with strong self-initiative.
• Excellent business analysis documentation and presentation skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical
audiences.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to evaluate alternative technical solutions
