It Web Architect

IT Web Architect (Senior – SL3) | European Institution | Brussels We are looking for an experienced IT Web Architect (SL3) to support a major European Institution in Brussels. This senior role is central to designing, shaping, and enhancing complex information systems, web applications, and large-scale digital platforms. Master’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Architecture Expertise Proven ability to define IT architectures across multiple projects (client-server, web, and service-oriented architectures). Architectural Design: Design and define application architectures according to functional, technical, and security requirements. Development Lifecycle Management: Manage the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): conception, design, development, testing, and deployment. Produce clear and comprehensive documentation for technical teams and end users. Ensure maintenance, continuous improvement, and scalability of applications. Strong experience with server‑side and client‑side technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, and scripting languages. Drupal CMS: Solid background in Drupal architecture, content modeling, module integration, and custom development. APIs & Data: Experience with RESTful architectures, API development/consumption, and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle). Experience deploying and operating applications in Linux environments (Red Hat or Debian), including Tomcat and WebLogic servers.
