Network Engineer

HAYS IT is assisting one of their clients, active in the banking industry, in their search for a freelance Senior Network Engineer. They are located in Antwerp

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to determine the technical direction for our network and security environment. You are an expert with a strategic vision, responsible for architecture, lifecycle management, complex engineering issues, and managing improvement processes.

The ideal candidate has:

• At least 6-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer is required.
• Solid understanding of Palo Alto Firewalls, Juniper Switching, F5, load balancing, VPN's and network security protocols is required.
• English fluency is required. Fluency in Dutch is a plus.

This is a long term project with possibility of extension, the start date is ASAP. Our client expects fulltime on-site presence.
