Process Engineer

Support innovative high temperature process projects as a Process Engineer in Mol.

Our client is running multiple engineering projects focused on designing and building experimental pilot scale process set ups. The projects are in detailed design, procurement, site preparation and construction phases. You will support project leads by translating high level requirements into concrete specifications for internal teams and external contractors, and by contributing to calculations, risk analyses and component selection.

Job Description:

You will take an executing and coordinating engineering role within a project environment that includes mechanical, electrical, HVAC, civil and process disciplines.

Key responsibilities:

• Technical specifications: Translate requirements into clear specs, procedures and component selections
• Build follow up: Follow internal and external manufacturing of mechanical components
• Incoming goods: Organise receipt, checks and storage of delivered materials
• Work preparation: Coordinate planning and preparation across disciplines and contractors
• Safety execution: Implement and follow safety measures defined in the safety plan
• Engineering support: Perform basic process calculations such as flow, heat transfer and strength
• Risk analyses: Participate in or chair risk analyses with focus on safety and feasibility

Requirements:

• Degree in industrial sciences such as chemistry, electromechanics, energy or similar, or equivalent experience
• Experience reading, analysing and interpreting technical plans and diagrams such as P&IDs, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Strong communication skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary international team
• Proactive and safety minded with a strong sense of responsibility
• Experience in process industry and project management are strong assets
• Comfortable working with standard IT tools, SAP is a plus
• Professional in Dutch and English
