Senior Cloud Architect

About the Role

Are you a hands-on Cloud Architect who thrives in regulated environments? We are seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms for mission-critical applications, including web, mobile, data, and AI/ML workloads. You will act as a trusted thought leader, driving cloud strategy, governance, and innovation across the organization while mentoring teams and defining best practices.

You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where your expertise will directly influence the efficiency, security, and innovation of cloud solutions . What You’ll Do

• Define and shape cloud strategy and infrastructure architecture in regulated environments (pharma, life sciences).
• Lead design and implementation of Azure and hybrid cloud solutions , leveraging IaaS, PaaS, and containerized architectures.
• Establish and promote Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
• Build reusable pipelines, templates, and documentation to standardize cloud delivery.
• Collaborate with security, networking, data, and application teams to deliver well-architected, compliant cloud platforms .
• Stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies and advocate for innovative solutions.
• Mentor teams and contribute to building a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) .

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with 5+ years in cloud/solution architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (AWS is a plus), hybrid cloud, Kubernetes, and IaC.
• Strong experience in regulated environments ( pharma, GxP, GAMP5, ISO, GDPR ).
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud platforms for production workloads.
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures, security best practices, and operational resilience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage stakeholders from technical teams to C-level.
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a proven track record of driving change and improving processes .
