Mechanical Project Manager: 18 Month Contract (Belgium)

We are currently seeking an experienced Modular Construction & Installation Project Manager to oversee the installation and integration of HVAC modular units on a major data centre project.

This is a technically complex, fast-paced build requiring a strong site leader with a deep

understanding of modular construction, HVAC systems, and mission-critical environments. The role is quality-focused and centred on construction execution and installation oversight.

Working within an international project environment, you will act as the on-site representative, liaising between design teams, modular production teams, and installation subcontractors to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site installation and integration of HVAC modular units
• Coordinate closely with design engineers and installation subcontractors to ensure buildability and correct execution
• Act as the technical interface between modular designers and site installation teams
• Identify and assess installation or design-related issues, determining responsibility and driving resolution
• Monitor installation progress against programme and escalate risks or delays
• Oversee quality control, inspections, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Attend coordination meetings and provide structured reporting on installation status
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Candidate Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in construction or installation project management
• Proven experience delivering at least two data centre construction or installation projects
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and modular construction methods
• Experience working in mission-critical or high-tech construction environments
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
• Fluent English essential
• Willingness to work 100% on-site across European project locations
