Cloud Engineer

This role focuses on managing a complex Multi-Cloud environment with a heavy emphasis on automation, IAM, and security posture.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering or Administration
• Strong expertise in Azure IAM and Entra ID (including App Registrations and API permissions)
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible)
• Solid understanding of Azure Networking (VNets, subnets, private endpoints, and VNet integrations)
• Experience with Azure Governance and Compliance using Azure Policy and Landing Zones (ESLZ)
• Familiarity with FinOps practices, including Azure Cost Optimization and orphaned resource management
• Knowledge of cloud security tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Rapid7
• Ability to automate tasks using scripts, Azure Runbooks, and modern tooling
• Languages: English (fluent)

Job Description:

• Provide end-to-end Azure operational support by managing tickets within a Multi-Cloud ServiceNow environment
• Manage IAM activities, security configurations, and Entra ID app registrations across Azure resources
• Monitor Azure Service Health, Security Advisories, and service retirements to ensure environment stability
• Approve and manage new Azure Resource Groups through the IDP Portal
• Conduct monthly FinOps reviews using Azure Cost Optimization and Orphaned Resources workbooks
• Strengthen the security posture by remediating Microsoft Defender for Cloud recommendations and Rapid7 vulnerabilities
• Centralize public cloud resources under the Enterprise-Scale Landing Zone (ESLZ) framework
• Develop scripts and runbooks to automate security recommendations and routine support tasks
