For one of our clients, we are exclusively looking for an experienced Payroll Manager who will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and reliable payroll operation. You will combine hands-on expertise with coordination and advisory responsibilities.
In this role, you will:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Act as the trusted point of contact for our external payroll partner.
- Translate social and labor legislation into clear, practical payroll and HR processes.
- Proactively advise on obligations toward tax authorities, NSSO, and other official institutions.
- Manage payroll-related administration and employee benefits.
- Work closely with HR, Sales, Mobility, and Accounting to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Coach and support the team while serving as a reliable advisor for employee payroll questions.
- Ensure correct handling of work permits in line with legal requirements.
Your profile:
An experienced payroll professional who combines technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills, and who feels comfortable operating in complex environments.
- Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
- Strong knowledge of labor law and social legislation.
- Proven experience in people management, with the ability to coach and mentor teams effectively.
- A proactive mindset, with a strong focus on continuous improvement of processes and systems.
- Experience working in larger organizations with complex payroll and administrative environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Hands-on experience with Cafeteria Plans and Mobility Budgets.
- At least 5 years of experience in payroll or a related field.
