IT-OT Support Engineer – About the Company

For a stable, family-owned SME active in industrial automation and industrial communication, we are looking for an IT-OT Support Engineer.

The company has been operating for over 50 years on the Belgian and Luxembourg markets and is recognized for its technical expertise, customer-centric approach, and long-term vision.

IT-OT Support Engineer – Your Role

As an IT-OT Support Engineer, you are the first technical point of contact for industrial clients.

You act as the bridge between IT and OT environments and support customers with network, communication, and IIoT-related challenges.

IT-OT Support Engineer – Your Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers via phone and email
• Analyze and resolve issues related to industrial networks and IIoT solutions
• Collaborate with internal colleagues and external technology partners
• Test new products and functionalities
• Share technical knowledge internally and support sales engineers
• Continuously develop product and market expertise through training
• Guide customers toward reliable and sustainable technical solutions

IT-OT Support Engineer – Your Profile

• You are a problem-solving engineer who persists until the right solution is found
• Structured, proactive, and strong communicator
• Degree in Applied Computer Science / ICT or equivalent experience
• Solid knowledge of:
• Routing & switching
• TCP/IP, VPN
• DHCP, DNS
• LAN / WAN
• SQL & APIs
• Experience or strong interest in OT networks and industrial protocols is a major plus
• Strong interest in IIoT / Industry 4.0
• You are looking for a stable environment with long-term growth opportunities
• Fluent in Dutch and French (mandatory)
• Professional level of English
