GC Corporation was founded in 1921 in Japan and has developed itself into one of the most prominent companies in the development, production and distribution of a very wide range of dental products. Since 1972 GC Europe NV, our European Headquarter is located at the Researchpark Haasrode in Leuven.

GC Europe NV supports and leads our different sales offices and dealers. Our warehouse spreads our products to Europe and the Middle East. Next to this we produce some leading products for dental technicians.

In light of new European regulations, GC Europe NV is looking for a project manager able to implement necessary requirements on instruction for use and packaging over its whole range of medical devices.

Temporary Project Manager - EMEA Packaging Implementation

Purpose of the job

Lead the implementation of a new packaging and labeling system for medical devices across the EMEA region, ensuring seamless rollout across all markets and stakeholder alignment.

Main responsibilities

• You conduct an exhaustive investigation of the project scope, identifying all impacted products, markets, and stakeholders
• You establish a roadmap & guidelines for implementations of defined project content
• You oversee the rework of Instructions for Use and related documentation to meet new packaging and labeling specifications
• You manage and coordinate the packaging and labeling validation process, ensuring compliance with new European regulatory requirements across all EMEA markets
• You align, implement the strategy ensure seamless coordination with GCIAG Head Office, Purchasing, Production, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing departments
• You proactively identify potential roadblocks and develop solutions to keep the project on track
• You ensure clear communication and alignment across departments and other GC entities.

Requirements

• You have proven experience in packaging engineering, preferably in medical device industry. Experience in Packaging Waste Regulation and electronic IFU implementation is a plus.
• You are experienced in project management. Holding PMP or Prince 2 certification is a plus.
• You are solution-driven: you approach challenges with a positive, problem-solving mindset
• You are highly organized and work in a structured, methodical manner
• You excel at cross-departmental communication and stakeholder management
• You thrive in multicultural environments and adapt easily to diverse working styles
• You are proactive and take initiative without waiting to be asked
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to bring people together toward common goals
• Excellent command of English is required; additional languages are a plus
• You are quickly available to start
