Operations Efficiency Engineer (Freelance) – Leuven
Location: Leuven, Belgium (Hybrid — 3 days onsite per week)
Contract: Freelance, full‑time (40 hours/week)
Duration: Until end of October 2026 + possible extension
We are seeking an operations efficiency engineer for our client that in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of operational data to identify trends, patterns, and inefficiencies.
- Process Improvement: Propose and implement data-backed solutions to optimize operational processes. This includes everything from supply chain logistics to internal workflows and customer service protocols.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with department heads and team members to understand their operational challenges and needs, ensuring that proposed solutions are practical and scalable.
Required knowledge and skills
- Experience: Proven experience in a data analysis, operations management, or business intelligence role. Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
- Experience with Data Mining.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting software.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data, draw meaningful conclusions, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
