Clinical Pharmacology Manager

🔬 Clinical Pharmacology Lead (Senior Level)

Belgium, Netherlands or France

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, science-driven biotech that’s looking to appoint a senior Clinical Pharmacology leader to take ownership of pharmacology strategy across an innovative small-molecule pipeline.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll shape how PK/PD, quantitative modelling, and translational insights are embedded into clinical development decisions from early stages through proof of concept and beyond. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across research, clinical, regulatory, and biometrics, with clear scope to grow into broader leadership as the function expands.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead clinical pharmacology strategy across multiple programs
  • Drive dose selection and development decisions using PK/PD and modelling approaches
  • Design and interpret clinical pharmacology studies and protocols
  • Apply population PK/PD, PBPK, and model-informed development principles
  • Integrate nonclinical, biomarker, and clinical data into regulator-ready outputs
  • Oversee CROs and contribute to global regulatory interactions
  • Help shape and grow the clinical pharmacology function over time

What we’re looking for:

  • Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience in clinical pharmacology within biotech or pharma
  • Strong background in small-molecule development and quantitative pharmacology
  • Comfortable operating both hands-on and strategically
  • Fluent in English

Why this role stands out:

  • Opportunity to define and own clinical pharmacology strategy
  • High visibility and influence on key development decisions
  • Hybrid working model (1/2 days from the office in the chosen country)
  • Competitive compensation and a collaborative, ambitious environment
