About the Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will:

• Build and maintain scalable web applications, contributing to both frontend and backend development.
• Help shape system architecture and design solutions with a focus on security, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Develop APIs and integrations that support asynchronous communication patterns.
• Collaborate across the tech stack, with opportunities to work on frontend features and backend services.
• Implement automated testing practices to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Work closely with DevOps on deployment pipelines and contribute to best practices.
• Guide and mentor other team members, actively participate in code reviews, and share technical expertise.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in full stack or backend development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and modern frameworks.
• Deep understanding of web architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching mechanisms.
• Comfortable working with asynchronous programming and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and modern DevOps approaches.
• Experience with containerisation tools such as Docker.
• Skilled in automated testing and quality assurance processes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, agile mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and TypeScript.
• Exposure to Python, particularly for hardware integration.
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.
