Cyber Security Consultant

We are seeking a Medior–Senior Cyber Security Specialist (7–10 years of experience) to join our cybersecurity team of four professionals.

This role operates within an ISO 27001-certified environment and combines strong technical execution with structured reporting and stakeholder communication responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, execution-driven, and comfortable presenting and communicating security topics in a clear and structured manner.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities

• Execute operational cybersecurity tasks and security controls
• Implement and maintain security measures aligned with ISO 27001 standards
• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation
• Support risk assessments and implement mitigation measures
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure infrastructure and configurations
• Support internal and external audits

Reporting & Communication

• Prepare structured security reports for management and stakeholders
• Present security findings, risk analyses, and improvement initiatives
• Contribute to policy and procedure development
• Ensure documentation remains audit-ready and compliant
• Act as a communication bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders

Your Profile

• 7–10 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
• Strong technical background in infrastructure, networks, and security operations
• Experience working in an ISO 27001-certified environment
• Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French
