afarax is looking for a freelance Integration Engineer. We need you! The project Our client in the utilities sector, is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to strengthen their team. TasksDesign and implementation of solutions for effective data management (like data quality tooling, master data management, ...)Ensure the alignment between the business/technical architecture and the functional/non-functional needs of the clientsBring concrete experience in terms of best practice in the data management concepts.Guarantee performance and trust in the solution by participating to the set up and following of a continuous build and testing platformCollaborating with the (sub) chapter lead to contribute in the maturity development of the chapterBring technical expertise to the team as well as infrastructure knowledge of tools used in the data platform (open data soft, queue manager, distributed cache, audit and monitoring)Participate in the setup of an efficient and dynamic documentation solutionSecond and third line support for production Is this you?Experience in .NET/Microsoft platform (3+ years)Integration framework experienceScheduler framework experienceAudit and Trace framework experience (3+ years)Efficient monitoring tools experience (3+ years)Web Services (REST, SOAP), XML, Flat Files, GraphQL, Messaging-/Steaming based communicationExperience with a data centric approach and working in a product organizationCapabilities to help in the administration of the tools used (mixed environment Windows and Unix)Supplier and procurement documentation and meetings with external parties will be in EnglishTheoretical knowledge of and practical experience with distributed architecture patterns (synchronous & asynchronous)Distributed cache patterns (Concepts and practical experience)Practical experience in the usage of Messaging and/or Event Streaming solutionsPractical experience in the development of a data integration layerAutomated Unit Testing and Integration TestingContinuous Integration developmentGood level of Dutch and/or French and English is requiredWorking within a team of skilled developersAgile mindsetWillingness to learn and support beyond the main profile (e.g. doing Data engineering tasks)Curious about new technologies, processes and approachesTeam player; "able to think outside the box"Strong interpersonal, communication & collaboration skillsOpen and continuous improvement mindsetSolution-oriented, able to work independently as well as in a cross-functional and self-organizing teamAbility to communicate with different profilesExperience in the asset domain of a TSO is a plus How afarax supports you?You benefit from our extensive networkYou will have access to projects that fit your expertiseWe help and support you throughout your projectWe offer the possibility to build a valuable and lasting partnership
