IT Functional Analyst Consultant

Mission Overview

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as an IT Functional Analyst. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise and our values to every engagement.

Responsibilities

• Clearly identify business problems and requirements, mapping out possible solutions for integration into the enterprise production environment.
• Investigate costs and benefits, and design the chosen solution in detail, specifying data, processes, and system impacts.
• During the preparation phase: accompany business analysts, product owners, and clients in solution reflection; propose alternatives aligned with enterprise architecture and strategy; ensure adoption of enterprise rules and standards; collaborate with architects and project managers; coordinate asset teams to ensure unified understanding of client needs.
• During the elaboration phase: translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements; align with asset teams on responsibilities; design application solutions; specify requirements with technical teams.
• During the construction phase: follow up on development and testing to ensure alignment with functional specifications; provide technical definitions for components; support suppliers during development and integration testing; analyze defects during testing; support release and deployment teams.
• Provide ad hoc support to operational entities and helpdesks after production deployment; analyze production incidents and coordinate solutions; maintain documentation.
• Work in an Agile context, combining preparation, elaboration, and construction in sprints.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Functional Analyst.
• Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language (Dutch or French).
• Functional and technical knowledge of existing IT systems (mandatory).
• Experience in Mobile iOS/Android (preferable).
• Knowledge of the banking and technical domain (mandatory).
• Familiarity with analysis methodology according to enterprise standards (mandatory).
• Practical experience with Scrum (preferable).
• Agile mindset: positive attitude, pragmatism, thirst for knowledge, team success focus, and continuous improvement.
• Soft skills: rigour, methodical approach, analytical and accurate, adaptability, strong communication, team player, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Expectation: 50% on-site and 50% homeworking.
