Company Description NanoMEGAS, founded in 2004, specializes in cutting-edge electron diffraction techniques for Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM). The company pioneered the development of the Precession Electron Diffraction (PED) device, compatible with various TEM systems. NanoMEGAS provides advanced hardware and software solutions like 4D–SPED Phase & Orientation Mapping, Strain Mapping with high precision, 3D Diffraction Tomography (ADT-3D), and Electron Pair Distribution Function (e-PDF) analysis for amorphous materials. These products are compatible with most commercial TEM electron microscopes and modern detection technologies. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role, based in Athens. The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of NanoMEGAS hardware and software systems for clients. They will provide technical support and troubleshooting services, as well as engage in field visits to resolve customer issues efficiently. Additionally, ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and reporting will be a core aspect of the role. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills Experience in field service and on-site technical implementations Proficiency in providing technical support and maintenance & repair services Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members Knowledge of electron microscopy or experience in electronic equipment is a plus Ability to travel for on-site support and service Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field preferred
