We are looking for a driven Lab Associate with a passion for colorants and additives within, among others, the detergent industry.

Job Description

As a Lab Associate, you play a key role in developing and optimizing color formulations for applications in the detergent, agrochemical, and hair care industries, as well as various other colored applications.

You perform different chemical and physical stability and compatibility tests to evaluate the quality and performance of the products. You carefully analyze the results and report them in English to the responsible sales managers.

You will be part of an experienced and dynamic team and report directly to the Lab Manager.

Your profile

You recognize yourself in the following points:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, textiles, biotechnology, or a similar field.
• You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a laboratory environment.
• You have good color vision.
• Knowledge of color techniques is a plus, not a must.
• Experience within the hair care industry is an asset.
• You work accurately, analytically, and with attention to detail.
• You are driven, see challenges as opportunities, and enjoy working in a team.
• You demonstrate the necessary maturity and strong communication skills.
• You are flexible and enjoy working cross-functionally.
• You are proficient in MS Office.
• You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of English.
