Your impact – Management Consultant, Circular Economy Strategy and Transformation (Senior Associate)

  • Assist private organisations in improving circular systems across various products, materials and sectors (electronics, packaging, tires, textile, etc.)
  • Support companies to build and implement ecosystems that enable circular economic activities while achieving strategic circular objectives (material access, environmental impact, etc.)
  • Study the impact of circular regulations on markets and companies (economic, environmental, operational impact, etc.)
  • Support organisations and companies in developing and adopting circular strategies
  • Analyse identified issues and help define approaches to manage and solve them proactively using PwC best practices and benchmarks
  • Be responsible for providing top‑quality deliverables
  • Reflect with senior people on the approach and key decisions over the lifetime of a project
  • Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives
  • Assist in drafting proposals
  • Continuously learn to further develop yourself

About you – Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years professional experience in an advisory role (intra‑company or as external advisor)
  • Master’s degree in economics, (bio‑engineering), business administration, law or a comparable field, proven by experience
  • Professional level Dutch, French and English language skills
  • Proven record of at least 5 relevant content references in the field of circular economy (not stakeholder management or PMO)
  • Practical knowledge of the European and Belgian (regional) regulatory framework that tackles topics connected with circularity (e.g. EPD, DPP, PPWR, EPR obligations, ESPR, etc.)
  • Capability to strategically assess a market or business from various circular perspectives (legal‑regulatory, cost, technical; stakeholder expectations, economic viability, etc.)
  • Ability to combine specialist technical knowledge, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with consulting skills (project management, presentation and communication) while working directly with management and employees on the clients’ premises
  • Pro‑active approach with the ability to demonstrate initiative and reliability
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across a diversity of cultures
  • Strong focus on quality in all deliverables
  • Flexibility to work in different environments and locations
