Technical co-founder / CTO — AI-first SaaS startup

AI is compressing build cycles from months to days. Teams now ship faster than they can learn. We see a massive opportunity in this shift — and we're looking for a technical co-founder to build a solution in this space, with us.

Who we are

Two co-founders based in Flanders, Belgium — experienced product builders and former tech executives. We have a working prototype and are actively validating our concept. The plan: bootstrap our MVP with own funding, then attract early customers and investors. We are looking for someone to own the technical side and help shape the first version of our product.

The role

This is a co-founder position, not a hire. You bring skin in the game.

You have experience as a CTO or are an experienced software architect willing to grow into the founding CTO role. You're a self-starter who embraces an agentic software development approach from day one.

What we expect:

• Take over technical lead from one of the co-founders
• Own the SaaS architecture — cloud-native, multi-tenant, AI at the core
• Build graph-based data models and knowledge systems
• Make pragmatic build vs. buy vs. integrate decisions
• Use AI-native dev tools (like Claude Code) as standard workflow
• Eventually recruit and lead the product engineering team

What's in it for you

A co-founding role with a meaningful equity stake, vesting terms to be agreed together. After funding, this transitions to a fully compensated CTO position. Starting commitment is minimum 3 days per week, building up to full-time by mid 2026. Remote-first, but you're based in Belgium and available to meet in person up to 2 days a week. Fluent in English required, Dutch is a nice to have.

What we're looking for

You've built software products, not just features. You've shipped something from zero to production.

• 7+ years in software development and architecture
• Full-stack, cloud-native SaaS experience
• Hands-on with AI coding tools and comfortable working with LLMs
• Experience with or strong interest in knowledge graphs and AI agents
• Ideally 2+ years leading engineering teams
• Entrepreneurial, high ownership, comfortable with early-stage ambiguity
• A broad interest in product, technology and proactively following trends
