Senior Certinia (FinancialForce) Consultant


Are you a #curious, #structured, and #committed Certinia (FinancialForce) leader ready to drive complex ERP & PSA transformations on Salesforce and shape best practices at scale?

We’re looking for a trusted expert and delivery leader who combines deep Certinia knowledge with strong business acumen, and who enjoys owning solution strategy, guiding clients at executive level, and growing a Certinia practice within a consulting environment.

If you love owning end-to-end solution design , challenging C-level stakeholders, mentoring senior consultants, and ensuring delivery excellence across multiple projects — this role is for you .

As a Lead / Principal Certinia Consultant , you will act as a solution authority, client advisor, and internal reference , driving high-impact Certinia programs while shaping standards, governance, and long-term client value.

  • You’ve only worked on Certinia in a support or junior role.
  • You’re not comfortable owning solution decisions and being accountable for outcomes.
  • You avoid executive-level discussions with Finance, PMO, or Operations leaders.
  • You prefer executing tasks over defining vision, standards, and direction .
  • You’re not interested in coaching others or growing a practice.
  • You don’t believe in continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and accountability.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

  • 3+ years of experience delivering Certinia / FinancialForce solutions on Salesforce, including complex, multi-entity environments.
  • Recognized expertise across PSA and Accounting , with strong understanding of:
  • Quote-to-Cash
  • Proven ability to act as Lead Solution Consultant on large or strategic programs.
  • Strong experience engaging with C-level and senior stakeholders (CFO, COO, Head of PMO, Finance Directors).
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce-native ERP architecture , data models, security, and automation.
  • Ability to define solution governance , delivery standards, and design principles.
  • Comfortable making and defending architectural and functional trade-offs.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring senior and junior consultants .
  • Salesforce & Certinia certifications strongly preferred.
  • Fluent in French or Dutch and English

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Lead / Principal Certinia Consultant , your mission will include:

1) Client Advisory & Strategic Leadership

  • Act as trusted advisor for clients on Certinia & Salesforce ERP strategy.
  • Lead executive-level workshops and steer key solution decisions.
  • Challenge client operating models and propose optimized, scalable target states.
  • Support pre-sales activities, solution positioning, and delivery scoping.

2) End-to-End Solution Ownership

  • Own overall Certinia solution architecture across PSA, Accounting, and integrations.
  • Define data models, financial structures, delivery models, and automation strategy.
  • Ensure alignment between Sales Cloud, Certinia, and downstream systems.
  • Set and enforce solution design standards and best practices.

3) Delivery Governance & Quality

  • Act as delivery lead or solution authority across one or multiple programs.
  • Review and validate designs and configurations produced by the team.
  • Ensure solution quality, performance, scalability, and compliance.
  • Anticipate risks and guide mitigation strategies.

4) Hands-On Expertise (When It Matters)

  • Step in hands-on for complex configuration, troubleshooting, or critical phases.
  • Validate automation, reporting, and financial outputs.

5) Coaching & Practice Development

  • Mentor and coach consultants across levels.
  • Build Certinia capability internally through knowledge sharing and enablement.
  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and capability assessment.
  • Develop reusable assets, accelerators, and delivery frameworks.

6) Change, Adoption & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Ensure strong adoption across finance and delivery teams.
  • Support change management and governance models.
  • Align business, IT, and leadership expectations throughout the program lifecycle.

7) Continuous Improvement & Thought Leadership

  • Drive innovation around Certinia, Salesforce ERP, and delivery models.
  • Stay ahead of Certinia roadmap and market trends.
  • Represent Certinia expertise internally and externally when needed.
