Job Description

As a data visualization consultant, you will help our clients solve complex data issues. You will collect data from various sources, optimize datasets for visualization, and develop insightful and user-friendly dashboards. Using your expertise and the Sopra Steria design-thinking methodology, you will enhance the quality of reporting and visualizations for our customers. Your input will also contribute to the vision and development of our Data Visualization team.

Understanding data is crucial. With Sopra Steria's Data Visualization solutions, we help organizations visualize information and data, making abstract data accessible and understandable through tables, graphs, diagrams, and heatmaps. This enables well-informed decision-making based on clear insights, fostering trust and understanding. Technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, and D3.js are integral to our work.

Qualifications

We’re seeking passionate colleagues eager to push the boundaries in digital transformation and technology consulting. We’re looking for candidates with:

• At least 2 years of data visualization experience, demonstrable via a portfolio or demo
• A creative yet pragmatic approach, attentive to detail
• Knowledge of best practices and visual design principles
• Experience with visualization tools or libraries such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, D3.js, etc., with evidence via portfolio or certification
• Experience with dashboard performance tuning
• Knowledge of UX design is a plus
• Willingness to act as an expert and coach others
• Fluent communication skills with colleagues, clients, and end users
• A passion for data visualization
• Adding dashboards or portfolio links in your application is advantageous
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus
