Description
You analyze and optimize existing IT systems, workflows, and processes to improve the quality of our services.
You translate business needs into clear functional analyses and document these in collaboration with the parties involved.
You apply BPMN models or other analysis techniques to structure your findings.
You play an active role in project management by coordinating multidisciplinary teams (both IT and business), organizing meetings, answering questions, and monitoring progress.
You participate in external working groups to collaborate and exchange knowledge.
You support the testing phase, perform tests, and validate new functionalities;
You implement projects, provide training for colleagues, and prepare the necessary documentation;
You manage the planning and follow-up of change requests and projects, paying attention to deadlines and priorities within the Business Unit.
Profile
Has at least 3 years of experience as an analyst in the insurance sector; experience with occupational accidents is an advantage, but a willingness to learn more about this area is essential;
Has a bachelor's degree, preferably in an IT-related field, but other degrees are also welcome;
Has sharp analytical skills and is able to make connections in complex situations and translate these into practical solutions;
Is communicative, flexible, can handle stress well, and has a results-oriented attitude;
Is Dutch-speaking and has a good command of French;
Is a real team player, but also has the capacity to carry out projects independently;
Technical Expertise
Extensive knowledge of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and VBA.
Experience with mainframe environments and ability to develop quick wins with VBA or other technologies.
Experience with Lean thinking or other process improvement methods.
Additional Assets
Experience with project management methodologies such as Prince2 or Agile;
Knowledge of new technologies such as AI, automation, RPA, and digital tools for document and workflow management;
Skilled in creating BPMN diagrams.
