Community Manager Intern – 100% Social Media | WhatsApp-first Tipping Platform for Gig Workers

- Location: Remote

is revolutionizing tipping for the gig economy. Our WhatsApp-native platform enables instant, zero-moderation tips for delivery drivers, servers, and independent workers, with a unique peer-to-peer revenue sharing system.

Our mission: Empower gig workers with full control over their earnings through a simple, fast, and solidarity-driven solution.

Your Role

As our Community Manager Intern, you'll own 100% of our social media presence and build into the go-to brand for solidarity-based tipping.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation (70%)

  • Create daily engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube
  • Produce short videos, reels, stories, posts showcasing workers, success stories, features
  • Design visual tutorials explaining platform usage (onboarding, revenue sharing, WhatsApp integration)

Community Engagement (20%)

  • Respond to comments, DMs, mentions across all platforms
  • Moderate discussions and drive engagement (polls, Q&As, challenges)
  • Identify and engage with gig economy, tech-for-good, fintech influencers

Strategy & Analytics (10%)

  • Track performance metrics and optimize content strategy
  • Monitor competitors and propose viral campaigns
  • Test new formats and trends

Leverage Your Own Network

  • Amplify content through your personal social accounts

Ideal Candidate

Required:

  • Student in communications, digital marketing, journalism, or audiovisual
  • Expert knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter/X (algorithms, formats, trends)
  • Video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or similar)
  • Passion for social media and real-time trend monitoring
  • Creative, reactive, autonomous
  • Excellent English writing and storytelling abilities
  • Alignment with solidarity, collaborative economy, tech-for-good values

Bonus:

  • Prior social media management experience (internships, personal projects, associations)
  • Knowledge of gig economy, fintech, or startup sectors
  • Design skills (Canva, Figma) or photo/video expertise
  • Active personal social network with engaged followers
