Job Overview The Assistant Project and Partnerships Manager is a full-time role that is essential to sustaining our growth strategy, providing placement support for our core program delivery, and identifying appropriate employability enhancement engagement for our learners. You will manage and build relationships with a myriad of stakeholders, including employers, industry associations, corporations, and government organizations. Develop New Employer and Partner Relationships (40%) Develop strategies and implement outreach initiatives to connect program graduates with potential employers in diverse industries. Proactively approach and cultivate relationships with corporate, SME, and industry partners to create sustainable hiring collaborations. Support employers in understanding how to best engage with our training and placement programs, highlighting the value of hiring our graduates. Keep abreast of labour market developments, employer needs, and sector changes to ensure responsive and informed program strategies; Cultivate relationships with new employers & manage \"on-boarding\" of new employer partners Work closely with program and curriculum teams to ensure employer needs align with youth training outcomes and job placement goals. Other responsibilities will include market intelligence gathering, opportunity tracking and follow-up, and presentations to prospective employers B. Maintain Existing Employer and Partner Relationships (30%) Regularly engage stakeholders to maintain interest, relevance and buy-in. Schedule routine individual employer feedback to ensure Generation understands issues, challenges, concerns, as well as success stories of Generation graduates; and explore potential partnership opportunities. Work closely with existing partners to deepen engagement and expand opportunities x through collaboration and feedback. Facilitate the sharing of regular updates and impact stories to already engaged employers to ensure they remain motivated about the Generation Ensure that Generation acknowledges its employer partners whenever relevant and shares their brand C. Regular Project Engagement and Delivery (30%) Follow beneficiaries' transition to full-time employment, including collaborating with employer partners to establish & execute employment education, application submission and interviewing events Follow up with our beneficiaries to collect data, ensure efficient functioning of the ROI mechanisms and conduct analysis of relevant ROI data as per agreed guidelines Gather market intelligence, analyze hiring trends, monitor opportunities, and prepare presentations for internal teams to support informed management decision-making. Work with the cross-functional team to connect learners with appropriate employment resources, such as opportunities for participating in industry sharing and site visits to specific companies, to help them improve their employability. Develop and update corporate and pitching materials such as pitch-decks and newsletters Generation Hong Kong is a small team with a start-up feel. You will be a member of a team working to launch programs and grow our organization's ability to empower people in Hong Kong to get the training they need to start new, life-changing careers. On any given day you might pitch in with program work: interviewing candidates, reviewing a budget, providing coaching on project planning to a colleague, or preparing a memo to a potential funder.
