Harvest Veterinary Oncology Centre (HVOC) is a state-of-the-art oncology hospital that provides comprehensive cancer treatments for pets, including surgery, radiation therapy, and medical therapy. Our dedicated team consists of Veterinary Oncologists, Surgeons, Medical Physicists, Radiation Therapists, Nurses, and Administrative staff who prioritize personalized care. Equipped with advanced medical imaging and therapeutic technologies, including Linear Accelerator (Linac), PET-CT scanner, and 1.5T MRI scanner, HVOC offers holistic, all-inclusive treatment. We aim to ensure a comfortable and supportive environment for both patients and their owners.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Internship in Anaesthesia and Analgesia located in Hong Kong SAR. As an intern, you will assist in providing anesthetic and analgesic care for veterinary oncology patients undergoing various diagnostic tests and treatments such as surgery and radiation therapy. Responsibilities include patient preparation, monitoring under anesthesia, post-procedure care, and maintaining accurate records. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest quality care is also a key part of the role.
Qualifications
Experience in veterinary anesthesia and analgesia, including patient preparation and monitoring.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Compassionate and patient-centered mindset to provide the best possible care for animals.
Veterinary degree (DVM or equivalent), or currently pursuing a veterinary qualification.
Willingness to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced environment in Hong Kong SAR.
Previous experience in oncology or advanced imaging is a plus.
