Functional Data Analyst

HAYS IT is assisting one of their clients, active in the banking industry, in their search for a freelance Functional Data Analyst. They are located in Brussels.

The Functional Data Analyst will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and validation of data solutions during the migration of our SAS BI ecosystem to GCP. This individual will work closely with internal teams, including data engineers, business stakeholders, and project managers, to ensure a seamless and successful transition.

The ideal candidate has:

• At least 5-6 years of experience as a functional (data) analyst is required.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with core GCP data services, particularly BigQuery is required. A good level of SQL proficiency for data querying, manipulation, and optimization within large datasets is also required.
• Experience with SAS BI is a plus.
• English fluency is required. Fluency in Dutch and/or French is also required.

This is a long term project with possibility of extension, the start date is ASAP and our client has a hybrid homeworking policy.
