Scrum Master


Job description :

The Scrum Master leverages their advanced expertise in Agile methodologies and hands-on experience to support one or more teams in the rigorous and effective application of the Agile framework. They act as a facilitator and a reference point for best practices, with the goal of optimizing team performance and the value delivered. In this role, they will be supported by our Agile coach.


Your profile:

§ Significant experience (minimum 5 years) as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach

§ Proven track record of supporting teams on complex or high-stakes projects

§ Excellent command of the Scrum framework and associated Agile practices (Kanban, XP, Lean, etc.)

§ Demonstrated ability to adapt Agile methods to operational realities

§ Scrum Master / Agile certifications (PSM, CSM, or equivalent) strongly preferred

§ Experience in multi-team, multi-stakeholder, or transformation environments

§ Experience in the insurance sector, particularly in Non-Life (P&C) insurance, is a plus

§ Experience in integration work is a plus


2. Key Responsibilities

§ Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies with a high level of expertise

§ Support both mature and less mature teams in adoption and continuous improvement

§ Support the Product Owner in backlog management, prioritization, and clarification of requirements

§ Guide teams and stakeholders through change related to Agile practices

§ Contribute to improving cross-team interactions, collaboration models, and facilitate decision-making

§ Identify, anticipate, and help remove organizational, human, and technical impediments

§ Ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices, while adapting them pragmatically to the context

§ Act as an advisor to stakeholders and management

§ Foster collaboration, accountability, and team self-organization

§ Analyze performance and Agile maturity based on existing metrics

§ Actively contribute to spreading Agile culture within the organization


3. Functional relations (Interpersonal contacts are all contacts necessary for the performance of the function, such as contact with customers, suppliers, colleagues, other departments, ...)

§ Cross-functional teams and high value-added projects

Specific experience and knowledge
