Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hong Kong SAR for a Purchasing Manager. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for vendor evaluation and selection, negotiating contracts, maintaining inventory levels, and analyzing market trends to optimize purchasing strategies. They will also collaborate closely with suppliers, internal teams, and key stakeholders to ensure cost-efficient procurement while ensuring quality standards are met.
Qualifications
Proven skills in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management
Experience in inventory control, procurement planning, and cost optimization
Strong ability to analyze market trends and assess cost/quality trade-offs
Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software
Familiarity with the food import industry or perishable goods is an added advantage
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
