Senior Scrum Master


Context and purpose of the role The Scrum Master leverages advanced expertise in Agile methodologies and hands-on experience to support one or more teams in the effective application of the Agile framework. Acting as a facilitator and point of reference for best practices, the Scrum Master aims to optimize team performance and the value delivered. In this role, you will be supported by our Agile Coach. Your profileMinimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile CoachProven track record of supporting teams on complex or high-stakes projectsExcellent command of Scrum and associated Agile practices (Kanban, XP, Lean, etc.)Demonstrated ability to adapt Agile methods to operational realitiesScrum Master / Agile certifications (PSM, CSM, or equivalent) strongly preferredExperience in multi-team, multi-stakeholder, or transformation environmentsExperience in the insurance sector, particularly Life or Non-Life (P&C) insurance, is a plusExperience in integration projects is a plus Key responsibilitiesLead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies with a high level of expertiseSupport both mature and less mature teams in their adoption journey and continuous improvementSupport the Product Owner in backlog management, prioritization, and clarification of requirementsGuide teams and stakeholders through Agile-related changeContribute to improving cross-team interactions and collaboration models, facilitating decision-makingIdentify, anticipate, and help remove organizational, human, and technical impedimentsEnsure adherence to Agile principles and practices while pragmatically adapting them to the contextAct as an advisor to stakeholders and managementFoster collaboration, accountability, and team self-organizationAnalyze team performance and Agile maturity based on existing metricsActively contribute to spreading Agile culture within the organizationCollaborate with other Scrum Masters in a Community of Practice to share experiences, coach peers, and support continuous learning Functional relationsCross-functional teams and high-value projectsA demanding environment requiring autonomy, maturity, and initiativeClose and transparent collaboration with team members and stakeholders Skills & abilitiesExpertise in facilitating and leading complex workshopsStrong servant-leader mindsetRigorous, structured, proactive, and a team playerExcellent communication, listening, and coaching skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilitiesResults-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and value creationProficiency in French, Dutch, and EnglishFamiliarity with Microsoft tools such as Azure DevOps is an advantage
