About the Role

We are looking for a (m/f): IT Technician – Feluy based.

Your role

Member of the European service desk team, the IT Technician acts as first line Service Desk support for Feluy, Woluwe & Paris escalating requests when required and working closely with EMEAI team to meet SLA’s.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line support for Feluy, Woluwe & Paris and backup to rest of EMEAI
• Log requests; categorise; prioritise and first time fix where possible
• Ensure IT policies and procedures are adhered to during day-to-day work both within the IT department and across the business
• Maintain all relevant documentation
• Proactively develop user information sheets and promote good practice guidelines including tip sheets, how to guides and new starter information packs
• Assist with all infrastructure roll-outs such as software updates and patching if required
• Build all PC’s and redistribute hardware as required. Maintain and complete relevant build documentation to an acceptable standard
• Support mobile devices
• Assist in all relevant IT projects
• Maintain IT asset register
• Maintain the build room and storeroom
• Support with internal office relocations

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT is an asset
• Fluent in English.

• Demonstrable problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels and across cultures/languages
• Good organizational skills
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work according to business impact
• Able to work as part of a team
