Chief People Officer

To strengthen our Management Team, we are looking for an inspiring and strategic Chief People Officer who will shape our people vision, drive organisational excellence and lead our People & Culture department with passion and impact. What you will do as Chief People Officer at Protime As our Chief People Officer, you are the driving force behind our entire People & Culture strategy. You report directly to the CEO of Protime and collaborate closely with your colleagues in the Management Team. You play a key role in supporting our ambitious growth journey and ensuring Protime remains a place where people thrive. - You take ownership of a broad range of strategic and operational responsibilities: - Define and implement a future‑proof People & Culture strategy aligned with Protime’s business objectives and growth ambitions. - Lead our transformation journey by not only guiding but actively driving change leadership, shaping new structures and organisational shifts. - Lead, coach and inspire our 26 dedicated colleagues across 3 countries within the People Services, Learning, Talent and People Business Partner teams, as a true people leader. - Further strengthening our company culture, ensuring engagement, well‑being, inclusion and continuous improvement remain central. - Drive leadership development and support our team leaders in building high-performing, empowered teams. - Oversee talent acquisition and workforce planning, ensuring we attract and retain the right talent in a competitive international market. - Ensure the development of scalable and efficient HR processes, policies and systems (including digitalisation and AI‑driven support), providing strategic direction and oversight. - Ensure compliant and consistent people operations across our international entities, supporting the complex harmonisation of processes and culture across countries with varying levels of process and organisational development. - Lead compensation & benefits strategy, ensuring competitiveness, fairness and transparency. - Act as a strong MT partner and sounding board for the CEO, Management Team and Leadership across the organisation, constructively challenging company‑wide perspectives to elevate decision‑making and organisational impact. - Represent Protime internally and externally as a strong ambassador of our culture and values. - Strengthen the connection between performance, leadership and culture, ensuring these elements reinforce each other throughout the organisation. Your skills and mindset - You have extensive leadership experience in People & Culture, preferably in a fast‑growing and/or international organisation. Experience in a Workforce Management environment would be a great plus. - You are a strategic thinker with a strong ability to translate long‑term vision into pragmatic, effective execution. - You bring emotional maturity and stability, remaining grounded when delivering difficult messages, creating calm in uncertainty and providing strong support to leaders. - You lead with empathy, clarity and authenticity, fostering trust and engagement, guided by a strong moral compass that shapes your decisions and interactions. - You communicate fluently and professionally in English, Dutch and French. Knowledge of additional European languages is a strong plus. - You are comfortable with data‑driven decision making and modern HR technologies, combining strong tech‑savviness with the ability to easily navigate digital tools (Microsoft environment, AI solutions, etc.) and quickly pick up new systems as they evolve. - You navigate change with a positive mindset, and you thrive in a dynamic scale‑up environment. - You have a deep understanding of organisational design, leadership development, talent management and modern HR practices.
