About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Onsite Digital Technology Support Engineer to deliver a premium, personalized IT experience across a multi-building campus in Ghent. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being visible, proactive, and closely connected to end users. You will take ownership of onsite end-user support, collaboration and meeting room technology and new user onboarding, while acting as a key escalation point for more complex technical issues. Customer experience, reliability and attention to detail are central to this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, personalized onsite IT support with a strong customer-service mindset
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows, macOS, and iOS environments
- Act as an escalation point for complex issues from the global service desk or remote teams
- Support and maintain collaboration and meeting room technology (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Neat hardware)
- Provide live support for important meetings, town halls and onsite events
- Deliver a smooth new-hire onboarding experience, including device preparation and handover
- Manage peripherals, assets, stock and equipment tracking, ensuring accurate CMDB updates
- Perform onsite technical tasks such as network patching and wireless access point installation/replacement
- Log, prioritize, and resolve incidents and requests using the IT service management system
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and local documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams and escort third-party technicians during onsite interventions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an onsite IT support, desktop support or workplace technology role
- Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows, macOS and iOS devices
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Experience supporting meeting rooms, A/V or collaboration technology
- Basic understanding of onsite networking (LAN/WLAN, patching, access points)
- Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD and/or Okta
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently onsite while collaborating with global teams
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., biotech, life sciences, pharma) is a plus
- Professional proficiency in English; Dutch and/or French is an advantage
