Plug The Jack is a unique network of self-service music studios designed by musicians for musicians, offering an inclusive space for creative expression without financial or material limitations. Whether you're a musician, producer, singer, DJ, or podcaster, our studios are open 7 days a week. We prioritize fostering a supportive community where every individual can share their creative vision. At Plug The Jack, we are committed to providing a space where all ideas and art forms are valued.
Role Description:
It's a 6-month contract for a half-time position, from Monday to Friday, 1pm to 5pm.
As a Studio Manager at Plug The Jack Ghent, you will be the face of Plug The Jack on site. You will ensure that artists have a smooth, safe, and inspiring experience, while maintaining the quality and atmosphere of the studios.
Your responsabilities:
Support and assist artists
Welcome and assist artists on site when needed
Answer questions via phone and WhatsApp
Help resolve basic technical issues (audio setup, equipment, access codes)
Ensure artists understand and respect the studio rules
Maintain studio quality
Reset studios after each session (equipment positioning, cleaning, organization)
Ensure studios and common areas remain clean and professional
Monitor studio usage and ensure rules and schedules are respected
Report any technical issues or incidents
Ensure smooth daily operations
Monitor reservations and studio access
Support basic administrative tasks (emails, account validation, reporting)
Ensure a safe and respectful environment for all artists
Who we're looking for:
Passionate about music, audio, or creative environments
Reliable, responsible, and proactive
Comfortable working independently
Friendly and professional with clients
Tech-savvy and comfortable with basic computer/audio equipment
Fluent in English & Dutch (French is a plus)
Bonus if you are a DJ, producer, musician, or content creator
