Business & Requirements Analyst (BRA) – Advanced English – Onsite in Brussels We are looking for an experienced Business and Requirements Analyst (BRA) to support IT and business transformation initiatives for a public body of the European Union. Location: Brussels, Belgium (Onsite) Contract Type: Freelance Duration: 220 days Start Date: Immediate Language: Advanced English (mandatory) Role Overview The Business & Requirements Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and translating business needs into functional requirements, supporting the full software development lifecycle within a large institutional environment. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyse business requirements. Interview business stakeholders to assess needs and derive functional features. Develop and validate use cases with business users. Provide input for data modelling activities. Support testers in the preparation of test cases. Provide clear and structured inputs to development teams. Liaise with software providers to manage business requests. Train business users on newly implemented software solutions. Knowledge & Competences UML and BPMN modelling. Business analysis and business process modelling. Data analysis and data modelling. Strong understanding of information systems and technical project aspects. Experience with administrative business processes in large organisations. Knowledge of software development methodologies and agile frameworks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver high-level presentations.
